Make sure to coat the Nordic Ware tea cake pan with butter, flour, or baking spray before you start baking in it. The pan comes with a premium non-stick coating, which makes it easy to release the cake and clean up. However, avoid using regular cooking spray to prevent ruining the pan's non-stick surface.
After using the pan, hand wash it in warm soapy water. It's not recommended to use a dishwasher to clean the pan, as it may damage the non-stick coating and shorten its lifespan.
