The Nordic Ware Extra-Large Oven Crisp Baking Tray is made of aluminum, and comes with a carbon steel non-stick baking rack. The rack raises food off the bottom of the baking tray, allowing hot air to circulate underneath the baking rack. As a result, the food crisps on all sides, and there is no need to turn the food while it is in the oven. The non-stick rack also allows fat and grease to drain away from your food. As a result, oven-baked bacon cooks flat, evenly browns, and is not as greasy. Likewise, wings, fries, tots, jerky, apple chips, and so much more are evenly crisp on all sides.
Hand wash with warm soapy water. Cleaning the tray and rack in the dishwasher is not recommended, because it can discolor the baking tray and shorten the life of the non-stick coating of the rack.
