Easy to use. Simply remove the meat from the oven. Remove the thermometer from the protective sheath. Insert the pointed end into at least 1 1/2-inches of the meat's thickest part. Make sure that the end isn't touching bone. The temperature is displayed in 5-10 seconds. Stop cooking the meat once the internal temperature is within the safe temperature zone.
